Tom Williams, President

Tom grew up in Clarkston, Washington and attended Eastern Washington University. Post graduation he started his career in real estate. Tom eventually found banking and spent the next 20 years in the industry which led him to Sandpoint. He managed the First Federal Bank of Coeur D’Alene which eventually became Mountain West Savings. Tom left the banking world to join Sandpoint Title in 1990. In 1992 Sandpoint Title expanded into Coeur D’Alene opening its sister company, North Idaho Title. Tom was named president and manager of the branch and remained there until 1999 when he and his family moved back to Sandpoint and purchased Sandpoint Title. Tom leads Sandpoint Title whose staff now includes his son and Vice President, Lonnie.

Jaime Gustin,

Escrow Assistant to Jen Stevens

Jaime comes to Sandpoint Title by way of California where she earned her degree in Public Administration from San Diego State in Public Administration in 2007. She spent two years as an Escrow Assistant with Fidelity National Title in Truckee. She and her husband relocated to Northern Idaho in the spring of 2016 and Jaime joined the Sandpoint Title team as an Escrow Assistant. She is thrilled to be in Sandpoint and be able to camp, fish and 4 wheel in the beautiful scenery. 

Verna White, Escrow Officer

Verna has called Sandpoint "home" her whole life. She was born and raised here and when the time came to raise her own family, she knew Sandpoint was the best choice. Verna began her career with Sandpoint Title in 1991, where she started at the front desk as a receptionist and eventually learned customer service, recording, was a title officers' assistant, assisted with marketing and deliveries, and then settled into her current position as an escrow officer. Verna wanted the challenge that comes with being and escrow officer and has thrived in the position. Her ability to build new relationships with realtors and lenders coupled with over 25 years of experience in the industry and a strong attention to detail makes the closing process a delight. Outside of work, Verna enjoys spending time with her family, quilting, landscaping, traveling and teaching Sunday School.

Jen Stevens, Escrow Officer

A native of Sandpoint, Jen has a true appreciation for this town and the abundance of activities it offers to our community. Jen graduated from Sandpoint High School in 2002 where she participated in both track and cross country on varsity levels. After going to college for nursing she decided to pursue a career in real estate and has been involved in the industry ever since; first as a licensed assistant/agent for two top-producing realtors® and now at Sandpoint Title working the same transaction from a different angle. She has a keen knowledge of what is involved in a real estate transaction and knows the steps necessary to offer her clients a smooth and enjoyable closing. Her attention to detail and dedication to customer service have helped create long lasting relationships. “Real Estate has always been my passion and I truly look forward to overcoming the challenges involved in each transaction.” Jen married her high school sweetheart in 2009 and together they enjoy camping, spoiling their 2 yellow lab dogs, long drives in the mountains and hunting for big game.

Raquel Brown, Title Officer

Raquel has lived in Sandpoint for most of her life. She began working in the title industry over 20 years ago and has been with Sandpoint Title since 1999. Her experience in this field ranges from typing policies, customer service, and recordings to examining titles and working full time as a title officer. Raquel has been fortunate to have been trained and mentored by some of the best title officers in the industry. When she started working in the business she had no idea that it would develop into a wonderful career. Outside of the workday she enjoys being with her children and spending time with friends.

Lonnie Williams, Vice President, Title Staff

A Sandpoint native, Lonnie is active in everything that this beautiful area has to offer. He attended Gonzaga University and graduated with a degree in Business Administration in 2008. After graduating he returned to Sandpoint where he joined his father and the team at Sandpoint Title. Growing up in the business Lonnie is excited about the future of Sandpoint and the company as well. During his high school years as an SHS Bulldog he played soccer, football, golf and tennis and he went on to play two years of college ball. Soccer is still his sport of choice and he continues to play today as well as coach local youth teams. With a love of the outdoors, Lonnie and his wife camp and hike almost every weekend during the spring and summer and enjoy hunting, fishing, skiing, snowboarding, running, playing hockey and boating.

Cheri Childears, Commitment and Policy Typist

Cheri Childears has lived in Sandpoint for over 30 years, of which more than 15 have been spent working in the Title/Real Estate business. Cheri has been a typist at Sandpoint Title for 6 years. In her free time she enjoys spending time with my family, reading, camping and four wheeling.

Roberta Nutt, Title Officer

Roberta is a recent transplant to Bonner County and is excited to call Sandpoint her home.  She has been in the title industry for 23 years mostly in the Lewiston Clarkston Valley.  It has been a great source of joy for her to be a part of helping people realize their dream of owning their own home or property.   She is looking forward to continuing those rewarding experiences with Sandpoint Title.

Lori Eddings, Customer Service

A Sandpoint local for over 25 years Lori and her family couldn’t love the area more. Since 1995 Lori has been providing Sandpoint Title customers with excellent customer service. If you’ve ever visited our offices, Lori’s friendly face is usually the first you see. Lori loves her job, and takes pride in providing customers with the best service there is. Prior to joining Sandpoint Title, Lori worked in real estate doing office and clerical work, making her transition into the title business an easy one. Outside of the office Lori spends her time fishing, hiking, traveling, sewing and spending time with her family, especially her two grandchildren who bring her so much joy and laughter.

Rebecca Goebel, Typist

Born in Western Washington, Rebecca has been a Sandpoint local since 1996. She feels fortunate to have grown up here and is happy to be raising her young son in the community she loves so much.

A recent addition to the Sandpoint Title team, Rebecca is excited to learn an grow in the industry. With over 10 years of experience in customer service, she is committed to providing every customer the very best experience possible.

Out of the office, she enjoys spending time with her rambunctious little one and significant other, traveling, and playing in beautiful lake Pend Oreille.

Jenn Markwardt, Director of Business Operations

Originally from California, Jenn attended UC Santa Barbara where she earned her degree in Law and Society in 2006. After graduating she honed her marketing and business development skills while working with educational start-ups and non-profits in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. In 2012 Jenn and her husband moved to Sandpoint after they fell in love with the community while visiting on vacation. They opened CrossFit Sandpoint and immersed themselves in the community. She then took a job with Coldwater Creek as the Creative Manager for Factory Stores and Spas. Jenn joins Sandpoint Title Insurance with an excitement for sharing the company’s excellent customer service with the local community. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her son and husband, CrossFit, teaching cooking classes and enjoying the plethora of outdoor activities available in inland northwest.
